NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS: Twitter? Be more active?

Happy new year everyone! It's your Founder, Page, here. It's been slow for us this past year, but I think that there are so many things we could be doing to make this group even better! Please peruse the ideas below, and comment your ideas below!


First off, I noticed that the Twitter widget is free for us now as a non-core group - so I think it would be a really fun thing if we created a twitter account for our group! We could do promts, post resources, and generally have a platform to be more active on a smaller scale. Any other ideas are welcome! If you'd like to be an admin of our Twitter, please send an application to me as a note. Co-founders will have priority if they want to be admins. We'll probably be having around 5.


I'd love as well for us to have a few monthly features. A featured piece of artwork from one Mentor and one Mentee, and a blog post about a certain style of art, how to improve, resources, etc. We could rotate writers with a few constant pepople, and guest mentors, people from around the dA community, etc. I'd love vonenteers to head organize this as well as being the default blog writers.


Other things, I might like to change the formats of our Mentor/Mentee lists, having fewer art thumbnails, and maybe a one-two line description from the member about themselves. I think this would cut down on the length of the pages, make it easier for Mentor/Mentee pairing to happen, and weed out the non-serious members.
